Zen & the Art of a Midlife Crisis

Wrestling with a sub-prime mortgage in 2008, a small job to fix a toilet provided the opportunity for a renovation of my life. The loss of parents and two family homes, the end of a marriage, and the closure of a failed construction business, having conspired to create the perfect storm of crisis, produced a book of approximately220 pages entitled “Zen & the Art of the Midlife Crisis” that reviews the influences in my past to find solutions for a more authentic future.

Small Change: stories of heart

Tales of revelations in small moments of daily lives, these four stories have in common a point of leverage when a choice makes a huge difference and transforms the heart. Whole lives in the balance change or could have changed; lovely twists on the normal themes of love and relationship, fathers and sons, lives that could have been or now will be, these tales prove that life is such a surprise.
