Over thirty years direct experience as a contractor, handyman and laborer, I have built houses start to finish and repaired a door latch. Having closed my business and embracing the life-long dream of writing, I am translating the experience into a blog entitled "the Artisan Builders Workshop" which takes the complicated process of remodeling and makes sense of it for the home owner about to begin a project.
Many of these essays are being organized and expanded into a book entitled "How to Remodel Your Home and Survive Your Marriage Doing It", scheduled for publication in early spring 2012.
Having earned my keep through an honest trade, I am still open to any project, capable of adjusting to any size, and able to choose and commit to what is the right balance in my life while still ensuring the satisfaction of the customer.
